Draft Agenda for Feb 28th
We will start on Feb 28th at 9:00am
- Team Updates: All
- Since we are juggling projects that have some inter-dependent funding, we need to review what everyone is doing.
- Technical to-do master list
- Job tracking
- Portlet configuration stuff (simple things like configuring defaults for myproxy host, etc).
- CSS and JSR 168 (Ray R.)
- JSF and Grid Portlets: Marlon
- I want to lead a technical discussion on using JSF to provide finer grained widgets for our project.
- I see this as potentially most useful with the OGSA-DAI work
- Service interfaces and instantiation: Marcus
- This is a proposed architecture for naming and loading services
- Also need some discussion on some exemplar services
- Sakai and WSRP: Beth K.
- Technical discussion of how to incorporate these into !GridSphere as well as uPortal
- Grid authentication issues with WSRP
- Portal single sign on
- Eric to discuss his work here with !Gridsphere
- Discuss also possible revisions to !ProxyManager
- Portlet plugins
- We need to have a minor technical discussion on how to do this (basically, Maven and War file stuff).
- Also, there is an issue of to CVS or not to CVS these--they can be distributed as war files independently
- More importantly, we need to make the big list of portlets (such as GlobalMMCS and SRB) that will be added and start posting.
- Third year new stuff
- I'd particularly like to discuss JSR 170/content management support as a contribution
- Outreach:
- We need to move expeditiously on some contacts (SCEC, NCSA/Parker, and others).
- I am pretty sure our 3rd year ++ success and funding will be judged this way.
- Also: GGF, SC, etc.
- Management Recap: All PIs
