About this Document
This document includes basic information about the different Java CoG Kit workflow featurs as part of the Karajan workflow engine. Karajan is a parallel scripting language. It uses a declarative concurrency approach to parallel programming. An interpreter is also provided, featuring the ability to checkpoint the state of the execution.

Normal arguments are listed in italics: argument
Optional arguments are listed in italics and with an asterisk in front: *optional
The default channel is symbolized by an ellipsis: ...
For channels the bold-italics font variant is used: channel
